New technology and digitalisation pose a number of ethical and security dilemmas. Therefore it is absolutely crucial for Smart Aarhus that digitalisation takes place within a clear regulated framework, and that respect for the individual citizen's privacy is maintained. We always work to increase our focus on data ethics and a more transparent use of data in the municipality, as well as maintaining the trust of citizens in how we use and share data in the municipality and with others - e.g. the region and the state.

Specifically, we post data on the Open Data portal, so that it is available to everyone. Also, like the rest of Aarhus Municipality, work according to the municipality's IT security policy.
