Public Expo during IoT Week

IoT Week and the Public Expo, is a unique event, full of co-creation and human-centric technology-based ideas and discussions. People not only create data, but hugely profit from the information gathered from them. Experience how it feels to live in the smart community of the future where homes and streets along with people generate a constant flow of data. Data, processed through transaction management, considering privacy and ethics, monitoring shared economies, air and climate quality, public life and space quality, co-creating better homes and cities to live in and through data interoperability, making it possible to connect cities and to create a greater community within the regions.

The Internet of Things (IoT) technologies are already playing an important role in our everyday life and will be even more significant in the future. The question is, how the future of IoT will look like?

IoT Week 2019 takes place in Aarhus from the 17th to the 21th of June

The Public Expo from the 18th to the 20th of June.

Follow Public Expo on Facebook.

The Public Expo will explore topics such as international cooperation, future manufacturing and industry, smart living & e-health, smart cities & communities, artificial intelligence & smart data, IoT market 6 business models, IoT emerging technologies, IoT security & data protection, 5G & IoT network, smart farming and IoT art & society, embracing the IoT lifestyle, delivering a compact package of exiting demonstrations and interactive sessions. The masterplan of the concept of the public expo is designed in cooperation with Aarhus Municipality, Aarhus University, Gehl Architects, Rambøll and it-forum, focusing on the human-centric experience. The formation of exhibition as it stands is illustrated below:

The Public Expo is free and open for visitors and passers-by, taking place, next to the main venue of IoT Week (Musikhuset), in Ridehuset, Byparken, BORA BORA and the surrounding areas. The ambition is to present Internet of Things in a very concrete and interactive way, unfolding the juxtaposition of analogue and digital. Partners and exhibitors participate by contributing to the envisioned experience through co-creation and integrating real-life visions, rather than showcasing their products.
